This talk will introduce the realist review methodology as a strategy for combining qualitative and quantitative data to answer the question “what works, for whom, and in what circumstances” This methodology is proving popular in addressing questions around complex and social interventions. Janet is a Senior Lecturer In Public Health, at School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) in The University of Sheffield. She is interested in creating constructivist learning environments, with the aim of setting up programmes that aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and applied practice, with an emphasis on strengthening community-campus partnerships and collaboration across academic teaching and work based learning.
