This Friday we are hosting a poetry reading by American poet A.E. Stallings who launches her new translation of Hesiod "Works and Days" (Penguin).

Come to the Ioannou Centre on 66 St Giles in Oxford at 5:15 on the 25th of May. The reading will be followed by a drinks reception and admission is free.

A.E. Stallings is a poet, critic, and translator who studied Classics at the University of Georgia and Oxford, and has previously published three collections of poetry and one verse translation to critical acclaim. She lives in Athens, Greece, where she is director of the Poetry Center.
