A talk with Mr Sergio Jaramillo Caro, High Commissioner for Peace and main negotiator at the Havana Peace Negotiations between the FARC-EP and the Colombian Government. Co-chaired by Professor Leigh Payne, Director, Latin American Centre and Professor Monica Duffy Toft, Professor of Government and Public Policy. The session will discuss the current status and prospects of the peace negotiations. Mr Jaramillo Caro will give a first-hand account of the negotiation and will reflect on the dilemmas of peacemaking and peace building in the Colombian context.
