The Moon is the Earth’s nearest neighbour in space, its constant companion and an object of wonder and study throughout history. This exhibition demonstrates the inspirational power of the Moon both in, and beyond science. It draws on the depth of the Museum’s collection, ranging from moon maps to tide tables and from astrological astrolabes to amulets.

Please note the Museum's opening times as follows: Monday - Closed Tuesday-Friday - 12-5pm Saturday - 10am-5pm Sunday - 2-5pm
