This four-day event is part of the Oxford-based Rameau Project, a major research venture seeking to advance our understanding of the most significant theorist and composer of the French Enlightenment, Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683-1764). Hosted by St Hilda’s College, and coinciding with the 250th anniversary of the composer's death on 12 September 1764, the conference will feature workshops and performances in addition to papers given by internationally-renowned experts on a wide range of aspects concerned with Rameau’s life and work. Please visit the Rameau Project website for full details.
