Jamal Aliyev is a young musician with a stellar trajectory. From Baku, Azerbaijan via the Yehudi Menuhin School and Royal College of Music, in 2017 he gave solo debut performances at the BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall, and at the Royal Festival Hall. His programme today includes Polonaise de Concert by the great Bohemian cellist and composer, David Popper.
Jamal is accompanied by Jâms Coleman, a talented chamber music pianist and recently appointed Artistic Director of the concert series at St. Clement Danes, London.
