Tom Fletcher was British Ambassador to Lebanon, 2011-15, and the Downing Street foreign policy adviser to three Prime Ministers.

Tom will discuss the changing nature of power and diplomacy in response to rapid technological change, and the global challenges we now face. From Brexit to Trump to the next migration crisis, how well equipped are we to respond? And how can citizens engage more effectively to shape the way that governments react? He will draw on his experiences as a 'naked diplomat', using new tools to engage the public and drive positive change. He will share insights on how foreign policy is made and implemented in the Digital Age.
