Love Science? Love Writing? Learn about synthetic biology and free your creativity in this one-day workshop designed for young adults. Interactive exercises with synthetic biologists will catch you up on the latest discoveries and exciting new biotechnologies,
including the creation of synthetic genomes and biological nanomachines. This will inspire an exploration of bioethics
through creative writing activities led by poet Lewis Buxton, celebrating the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s novel,
Frankenstein.
