Hakim Adi has the distinction as the only history prof of African heritage in Britain, and is currently the Professor of the History of Africa and the African Diaspora at Chichester University, receiving his PhD from SOAS (University of London).

He will be speaking about the 70th Anniversary of the Manchester Pan-African Congress and its significance today.
