Celebrate over 2,500 years of Armenian history at the Bodleian Libraries' free 2015 winter exhibition. This special exhibition brings together over one hundred manuscripts and printed items from the Bodleian Libraries’ rich collections to showcase the enduring impact of Armenian culture, from the country’s first mention during the reign of King Darius I (c. 550-486 BCE) to the modern Republic of Armenia. The exhibition also commemorates the centenary of the 1915 genocide against the Armenian population of the Ottoman Empire through the poignant display of treasured objects from survivors.
