The 2016 Archaeometry Lecture sponsored by Wiley Blackwell will be gven by Professor Sir Barry Cunliffe.

One of the characteristics of Eurasian archaeology is mobility -- the movement of people, commodities and ideas across huge distances. The talk will explore the dynamics behind this phenomenon -- the part played by geography and climate change and, in particular, the compulsion which humans share for the acquisition of rare materials and esoteric knowledge.

There will be a reception following the lecture.

All welcome!
