In this official launch of the Oxford Anagama Project Isezaki Jun will explore his pioneering work in reinstating the anagama (climbing kiln) as a vital creative process, his role as a Living National Treasure, and the challenges that face contemporary ceramicists.
On display will be a small selection of Isezaki Jun’s own work and that of his son Koichiro, as well as works from the first firing of the Oxford Anagama
