Oxford at Saïd: Latest Research in a Nutshell - a series of seminars aimed at providing professionals, University staff and students with an informal yet informative overview of current issues.
The series brings together leading academics from across the University to discuss their research in everyday language. The seminars provide a forum for dialogue between a non-specialist audience and leading researchers in their fields. They are seen as a valuable outreach activity, enhancing social and economic growth within the Oxford business community.
Topics cover a variety of disciplines and research areas and past subjects have included migration, oceans, ageing, stress, corporate governance, cancer research, business history, biological viruses, business taxation, complex systems, the cosmos, artificial intelligence, emerging markets, web 3.0, climate change, stem cell research, monetary policy, software, the environment, biotechnology and nanotechnology.
