The Official Guide

The 40-page illustrated guide to Oxford is written by local author Christina Hardyment and published by the Public Affairs Directorate.

It is divided into five sections:

• a brief history of the University;
• the collegiate structure;
• Oxford traditions;
  
• famous Oxonians;
• culture and the arts (which includes the libraries, museums and architectural landmarks).

The guide is A5 (148mm × 210mm) in size and contains a fold-out map. The publication is intended to serve as a practical accompaniment to a visit to Oxford.

The price for internal customers is £3 per copy (this represents a saving of £1.99 on the stated RRP), with a minimum of 10 per order.
