Whether creating some kind of promotional material or publication is an occasional or regular part of your role in the University, the Publications Office is happy to help.

Over many years and by working on a wide range of different projects, in a variety of formats, we have built a wealth of expertise which may be of value to your project.

• Creating a new logo for your department
• Considering use of a new typeface
• Needing to write text for a publication
• Appointing a design or print partner
• Designing a brochure or other printed material
• Commissioning a photographer or sourcing images

Our services are free to departments, colleges and members of the University.

We are also happy to advise people outside the University if they have any questions on dealing with the brand identity or other features of these guides.

If you are publishing printed materials using the University logo you will need 'sign off' from us before publication. Please get in touch well before your deadline. It is also advisable to give us sight of the publication before you get to the stage where the printer has provided you with a proof because making changes at this stage may add extra expense.
