The use of Foundry Sterling for site titles is encouraged when images are generated, as shown in the examples in this section (see also Typography). However, its use is not mandatory. The size specifications for type in titles can be modified for web use as the title on subsidiary sites is likely to take precedence over University branding.
Typefaces for text not stored in image files (e.g. body text) are at the discretion of those involved with the development of the site. It can be noted that Verdana is used for the body text in the www.ox.ac.uk website, with Trebuchet MS used for headings.
