Planning your open day visit

It is easy to feel that there is just too much to do and see at our open days. In our experience people who plan their day in advance often feel they have made the most of their visit and we have tried here to give you the information you require in order to feel able to do this.

Booking for events

In order to avoid disappointment, please do check whether or not you need to book in advance for events you are interested in. Due to high demand, many colleges and some departments require advance booking for their programmes of events. Colleges may also offer accommodation and lunch to those who book, which is a great way to experience Oxford life.

Further details about college and department events at the 2013 open days will be published here as soon as they become available.

Drop-in events

There are also many events where booking is not required, and you are welcome just to drop in. Nearer the time, you can download a guide which will give you information about all the opportunities available which you don’t need to book for in advance.
