Post 16 in a Nutshell

The aim of Post 16 in a Nutshell is to offer students the opportunity to explore their future using a series of self reflective activities.

The activities focus on asking students to think about who they are, what defines them as people and how this can lead them on a path to an exciting, fulfilling and challenging future. Sessions have been designed to be flexible so they can fit into school timetables and can be adapted as part of a careers day, PHSE session or extra-curricular activity.

The workshops require students to be the busiest people in the room, inputting ideas and engaging with university staff and student mentors.  Designed to offer participants the opportunity for self reflection in an enjoyable format. The aim is that students leave each session more informed and with a sense of achievement and direction.

You can download the workshops and teachers notes on how to run the workshops and presentations here.
