Europe
The University of Oxford is home to over 912, full degree,
undergraduates from European countries. We seek to recruit the most
academically gifted students from the continent.
Our students
receive an intensive education, including our distinctive tutorials, and
are taught by academic leaders in their field. Colleges provide
multidisciplinary communities within which students are supported and
intellectually challenged, and have the opportunity to meet people from
all walks of life and many different countries.
Many thanks for your visit. It certainly inspired a couple of our hopefuls to think carefully about applying to Oxford next year.
Teacher - Munich schools presentation - May 2012
Our activity in your area
The Student Recruitment Team's main activity in Europe is in late April and May, when we embark on our European Tour. This tour aims to provide information, advice and guidance to teachers and college counsellors, students and their parents about opportunities to study at the University of Oxford. Most of our activity is centred around school visits. In each region, a school is invited to 'host' the presentation for other schools in the local area that are interested in undergraduate applications to Oxford. In the year 2012/13 we will have visited 17 countries, 32 cities and 33 schools. To find out more and to book a place please click here.
When available, we may also be able to make individual appointments or Skype presentations.
Council of International School Forum on International Admissions and Guidance:
The University usually attends the CIS Forum in November. We often deliver a session at the Forum and take part in the University Fair.
