Oxford University is known internationally for academic excellence and for some of the world’s finest libraries and laboratories. The University encourages applications from academically strong students irrespective of their nationality, and welcomes the diversity they contribute. 14% of undergraduate students at Oxford are international, currently representing 130 different countries.

In a survey of overseas students starting courses at over 50 UK universities, Oxford ranked highest for research and for its emphasis on independent, flexible learning.
