Blackfriars Hall Blackfriars Hall admits up to twenty visiting students per year, as one year visiting students. Visting students study theology, philosophy, classics and English. Students can benefit from additional lectures and special events in Theology, Philosophy, and medical ethics organised by the Hall's research institutes and research partners. Students from Molloy College, Iona College, Providence College, Fairfield University, Dominican University, Albertus Magnus College, Caldwell College, Saint Mary College, Villanova University, University of Denver, Fordham University, University of San Francisco and St Louis University should apply via their home institution. Independent applications are welcomed, although an administration fee may be charged. We require a completed application form, personal statement of reasons for wishing to study at Blackfriars Hall, an academic reference (preferably from academics at the home institution), a sample of written work and a transcript or record of education from the home institution. Additionally, students who have not previously been tutored in English at university level are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English.

Corpus Christi We will consider applications for Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, English, Experimental Psychology, History, Physics, Philosophy. We have links with Columbia and Barnard University, and also Keio University in Japan, but welcome applications from other institutions

Exeter Preference is given to those students wishing to spend a full academic year here but some subjects will consider one or two terms. We cannot consider applications for Economics & Management, Earth Sciences, Fine Art, Human Sciences, Oriental Studies, Medicine, PPE, Physics, Zoology  or Theology. In addition to our Williams-Exeter Visiting student programme we offer a limited number of places to individual visiting students (typically DAAD, ERASMUS or Junior Year Abroad) each year

Hertford We take 25 Visiting Registered students per year. Hertford accepts visiting students for a variety of subjects in the humanities and social sciences.   For information on Hertford College's visiting student scheme please visit the college website.

Lady Margaret Hall We welcome applications from students wishing to study at Oxford from Universities and Colleges in USA. Preference is given to applicants for a full year, but applications for part of the year (either Michaelmas Term or Hilary and Trinity Terms) are welcome. Up to 25 Visiting Students will be in residence at any one time. Visiting Students can usually study any of the subjects available to regular Oxford undergraduates, with the exception of modern languages. Occasionally, with the consent of tutors, we can provide some special subjects tailored to the Visiting Student's interest. Magdalen Magdalen will admit up to the equivalent of ten Visiting students each year, for the whole year or for 1 or 2 individual terms.     Applications should be made to OSAP and will be accepted up to 8 weeks prior to the start of the intended period of residence in Oxford. The application should consist of a sample of written work in one of the subjects the applicant is intending to study at Magdalen or in their Major, 2 letters of recommendation and a completed application form. Mansfield We normally admit 35-40 visiting students programme students per year. Regent's Park Regent's Park College admits up to 15 visiting students per year and welcomes independent applications either for a complete academic year or for one or two terms. Regent's specialises in the Humanities and Social Sciences but we cannot accept applications to study Law. Applicants should have completed at least one year of academic study and achieved high standards. We also accept applications via the following institutions in USA: Carson-Newman College, Columbus State University, Georgetown College and William Jewell College. Applicants must submit a completed form plus an academic transcript, references, details of financial support, a personal statement and a sample of written work. St Anne's St Anne's admits visiting students for the full academic year. Applications are only accepted through the providers and institutions listed on the college website. Please note that applications from individuals will not be considered. Preference will be given to those applying for the full academic year. Wadham We welcome applications from students at universities and colleges in the USA who will come to Oxford for the entire academic year. Applications are accepted through the Sarah Lawrence College International Program office and Wadham College. Up to 30 full time places are available. Visiting Students can usually study any of the subjects available to regular Oxford undergraduates with occasional exceptions. Students take two subjects per term in individual one-to-one tutorials. There are lectures and seminars to complement the tutorial experience. We also run a Core Programme designed to introduce students to cultural, historical and political aspects of Britain. This includes trips, lectures and events. As one of the oldest and best established visiting student programmes at Oxford University, we have recently had students from: Swarthmore College, Reed University, Wesleyan College, Brown University, Brandeis University, the New School, Sarah Lawrence College, Tufts University and Eugene Lang College. We welcome students from other institutions to apply as well.
