International Qualifications

International 1In order to make a competitive application to Oxford, students need to have already achieved, or expect to obtain, one of the following qualifications with the grades shown, or another equivalent. You may take any qualification from any country: for example, students in any country in the world may be able to take A-levels, or qualifications from the American education system, to meet the general entrance requirements.

There are also specific entrance requirements for some courses, particularly in the sciences. The qualifications below will only be sufficient alternatives to A-level where they cover the same content as the required A-levels, to the appropriate standard.

If your qualification is not listed here, please contact us with further details, and we will be happy to advise you. It would be helpful if you could provide details about the nature of your qualifications, including the name of the awarding institution, and your intended course of study at Oxford.
