At Oxford, English can be studied on its own, for the BA in English Language and Literature, or as part of a joint degrees with one of the following subjects:

• Classics
• A Modern Language: French, German, Modern Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Czech (with Slovak) or Celtic
• History
