These open days take place in the Mathematical Institute each April/May. There are talks on Mathematics, the joint school courses, and the application process.

To maximise capacity, two mostly identical schedules of talks run during each day separated by 45 minutes. The first talk on schedule 1 begins at 10.30, and at 11.15 for schedule 2. There are 550 places available on each day. The talks are somewhat academic in flavour, and aimed at students. Teachers and parents are also welcome, but we limit numbers to one non-student per student. A buffet lunch will be provided with opportunities to talk to current students and tutors.

There will be a talk on the Maths & Computer Science degree. However, if you are primarily interested in Computer Science, then we would recommend attending the Department of Computer Science's Open Day.

The Department of Statistics will hold additional talks which can also be booked on our registration form. Those interested in applying for a Maths & Statistics degree are advised to attend on stream 1 where you will be escorted to the Dept. of Statistics for alternative talks in the afternoon.
