The Annual Access Conference supports year 12 students of African and Caribbean origin to make competitive applications to the University of Oxford.
The Annual Access Conference is for high-performing Year 12 students with African and Caribbean heritage in state-maintained education, and is delivered by the African and Caribbean Society in partnership with the Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach office.
The conference aims to:
- Support African and Caribbean students to make competitive applications to the University of Oxford
- Provide a platform for pupils to ask questions and engage with relatable student role models of African and Caribbean origin who are currently studying at Oxford University
- Assist teachers in providing advice and guidance to young people as they consider their higher education options
The 2016 Annual Access Conference took place on 12 July in London.
