Esters Workshop

In this practical session, you will look at two different methods than can be used to prepare esters. You will use spectroscopy to identify the starting materials and product. Using your yields and spectra of the products, you will decide which methodology is preferable. The whole class will work as a team to synthesise a range of different esters.
