The Master of Public Policy (MPP) is the flagship degree of the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University. It is a one year international graduate education for those wishing to lead in public service, whether in the public, private, non-governmental or social sector.
The core curriculum ranges across the social sciences, science, and the humanities, with students specialising in options and undertaking a field study. Short intensive modules focus on practical skills in finance and budgeting, management, negotiation and strategic communications.
Throughout, students learn to address some of the most challenging global issues.

Resources Available
As an integral part of the wider University and with such a wide-reaching curriculum, students will make use of research facilities in the main libraries and in their college libraries, as well as the facilities provided within the School. The School's building will act as a focal point for all our activities.

Research interests on the BSG website Entry Requirements The School will admit candidates with an outstanding undergraduate degree and who demonstrate that they aspire through their professional work to contribute to the public good in their country or region, or internationally. A successful MPP applicant will have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline with a first - or upper second-class honours or its international equivalent. A GPA of 3.7 or above would be expected from students who have studied at a university that uses the US grading system.
