Supporting materials for readmission candidates
This page details the documents that can be reused from previous applications on behalf of current Oxford graduates applying to research programmes. Requirements are the same for MSc (R) programmes as for DPhil programmes unless otherwise indicated.
A tick symbol "
" indicates that a document or set of documents can be reused, and a cross "
" indicates that a new document or set of documents is required.
Where some but not all references and/or written work can be reused, the number of these documents that can be reused is indicated. For example, "2
, 1
" indicates that two references from your application to the course you are currently studying can be reused, and you must obtain one new reference from a current supervisor.
One of your referees
should be your supervisor or course director from the Master’s
programme. If you do not provide a reference of this kind with your application, the
department will usually ask you to do so before completing the
assessment of your application.
All programmes that require GRE scores will alllow you to reuse these documents.
For further guidance, please consult the departmental website for the course to which you are applying.
