Applying for graduate study

Number 3

Explore possible funding opportunities

Take a look at the Fees, Funding and Scholarship Search

You need to think about how you will fund your study as early as possible and, if you are offered a place, you will be asked to provide proof that you are able to finance the cost of your programme and living expenses. Please see our Fees and Funding section for link to resources on opportunities to fund your study and other financial issues that you will need to consider.

You can apply for scholarships centrally administered by the University and for departmental studentships using the standard application form. If you wish to be considered for central University scholarships, you must apply by the January application deadline; other sources of funding may use this or other deadlines, and you should check the procedure for any funding you wish to be considered for carefully.

You will also be able to apply for some specific departmental studentships using the standard application form. These scholarships will be advertised on departmental websites and will have a reference code that you will need to enter on the form.
