Humanities Graduate Open Day

Friday 8 November 2013

The University of Oxford will hold an open day for prospective graduate students interested in humanities subjects on Friday 8 November 2013.

This will be a unique opportunity for prospective students to find out about the range of graduate courses we offer across our Humanities Division.

Faculties involved include Classics, English, Fine Art, History, History of Art, Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics, Medieval and Modern Languages, Music, Oriental Studies, and Theology and Religion.

Participants will have the chance to visit their chosen faculty and meet academic faculty members, admissions staff and current students to find out more about the graduate courses on offer and how to apply. There will also be talks about the array of funding opportunities available here at Oxford.

In the second part of the day you will have the opportunity to visit one of our famous colleges, which will help you to get a sense of what student life at Oxford is like. There will also be opportunities during the afternoon to find out more about the support the University offers relating to careers, admissions, funding and immigration.

In order to attend you’ll need to register using the link under 'Registration' below. Spaces are limited so register today!

We strongly recommended that you use public transport for your visit if at all possible. If you do travel by car, please note that parking in the city centre is limited and can be expensive. There are several Park & Ride bus services which run from car parks on the outskirts of Oxford.

Drivers coming from the east, including London, the south and the west are advised to use the Redbridge Park & Ride, while drivers arriving from the north can choose between Pear Tree and Water Eaton. Please avoid both the Thornhill and Seacourt Park & Rides which are often full.
