Graduate Photography Competition 2012

Graduate Photography Competition 2012

Following our highly successful Graduate Photography Competition in 2011, the Graduate Admissions and Funding team are once again calling for photographs taken by Oxford’s graduate students to develop and enhance the University's image library.

The photographs will appear in the revised Graduate Studies Prospectus for entry in 2013/14, to be published September 2012, and other print and online publications from the University.

In setting the theme of our 2012 competition, 'Beyond Brideshead: Research and Recreation', we hope to encourage entries that capture the many facets of academic life at Oxford, from labs to libraries, in order to give prospective students a glimpse of Oxford research in action.

We also encourage you to submit photographs which you feel capture daily life as a graduate at Oxford, particularly those that depict an alternative to the traditional perspective of Oxford and provide insight into the real depth and variety of the graduate student experience at the University.

To submit your entry to the competition, please complete our online application form and send your images via e-mail to our Graduate Recruitment Co-ordinator, Jennifer, at jennifer.orr@admin.ox.ac.uk. Any queries regarding the competition can also be sent via e-mail to Jennifer.

Photographs can be submitted to the competition at any time up until the deadline for entries on Friday, 11 May 2012 (TT Week 3).
