Join us for this year's Humanities Graduate Open Day and find out more about what it's like to study a graduate course in the humanities at Oxford.

It's your opportunity to visit a faculty or department to find out about:

  • Ruskin School of Fine Art
  • Theology and Religion

Schedule for the day

10:00-12:30 - Faculty session

You will be able to meet current graduate students and leading academics and get to know who you might be working with ahead of your application. You also have the chance to visit the facilities and premises where you could be studying if you decide to come to Oxford. 

Please note that some sessions may start at 09:30. The timings of your session will be emailed to you.

13:00-15:00 - College lunch and tour

Places for college lunch are now fully booked

Your opportunity to visit one of Oxford’s colleges, and learn about the social, academic and pastoral benefits of college life. Current graduate students and academics will also be on hand to answer any queries you may have and give you a tour. At many of our participating colleges you will be offered lunch.

Please note that places at these sessions are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with preference being given to those who have not previously studied at the University. 

15:00-17:00 - Optional sessions

The Ertegun House tours are now fully booked

Admissions i – Representatives from the Careers Service, Student Immigration, the Disability Advisory Service, the Oxford University Student Union (OUSU) and other University services will be available to answer your queries at our Admissions Information Centre. You don’t need an appointment for this session, so please feel free to drop in.

Ertegun House – Scheduled tours of Ertegun House, home of the Ertegun Graduate Scholarship Programme in the Humanities will be available. 

College visits – A number of colleges will be open for you to visit for a free self-guided tour.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate guests as they would be taking the place of another prospective applicant. If you would like to come with friends or family, they will find plenty to do around Oxford while you are visiting us.
