Continuing Education: Humanities

Continuing Education offers a range of part-time postgraduate degrees in the Humanities designed to meet the interests and circumstances of part-time students. As well as courses in History, Art History, Architectural History and Creative Writing, these include the innovative multi-disciplinary Master’s in Literature and Arts.

Drawing on the expertise and experience of senior Humanities academics in Continuing Education and across the University, these courses are offered in modes designed to allow effective study on a part-time basis. Students will be part of a lively Graduate School community in Continuing Education, their own particular studies being supplemented by broader inter-disciplinary research seminars, training opportunities and social events.

Success in part-time Master’s studies can prepare students for undertaking a DPhil.
