Developing the University Estate

The key development projects shown in this section will contribute significantly to Oxford’s continuing leadership as a university. Encouraging interdisciplinary research is the focus for many of the new developments, as well as upgrading the existing infrastructure to increase efficiency.

The new developments will feature both striking contemporary buildings and sensitively renovated listed buildings, giving Oxford citizens, University members and visitors alike, new public spaces and panoramas. Most of the developments are located within Oxford’s centre, keeping the University’s core operations within the historic city.
