Merton College

Merton

The first major new building on the main college site for a number of years, a new lecture theatre will mark the first phase of the college’s celebrations as it moves towards its 750th anniversary in 2014.

Sited at Rose Lane, it will have a seating capacity of approximately 130 and will feature a multi-purpose auditorium for lectures, recitals, film screenings and conferences, as well as an elegant reception foyer for more than 100 delegates. The adjacent South Lodge building will also be converted and upgraded to accommodate three seminar rooms and a conference centre office.
