A gallery in the Sir Henry Tate Library and the Medical building are two high-profile developments currently underway at Harris Manchester College.

The Medical building, which is planned for the college’s grounds, will house medical students, Fellows and visiting academics. The college is also building a new gallery in the library, one of its notable buildings, which was funded by Sir Henry Tate in 1889. This gallery will improve the library resources, providing extra shelving, 30 additional reader spaces and beautiful views of the stained glass bay windows.
